I have only tried it on a XP Professional CD, but it should work for the Home and OEM versions of Windows XP from restore disks.

How-To: Find Windows XP Product Key from the Windows XP CD:

1) Insert Windows XP cd into a working computer.
2) Exit the Autorun introduction.
3) Open “My Computer”
4) Right Click on the Windows XP cd-rom drive and select explore.
5) Open the USWXP32P_ZX folder. (It may be as a hidden folder. If you cannot locate the folder, you may also search for unattend.txt and mark “Search Hidden Files”.)
6) Open the sysprep folder.
7) Open unattend.txt

Your CD’s product key is contained within the unattend.txt file.

If you haven't already heard, Google is releasing their new open-source web browser, called Chrome and in beta today! Apparently, they wanted to keep it under the radar and but several Google developers released a “comic book” introducing all of the new features of Google Chrome a little early. This is great news for us and but bad news for competitors like Microsoft and Mozilla. The browser war has been heating up lately with the release of Firefox 3, Internet Explorer 8, and now Google Chrome. So will Chrome steal any market share or will it be another Cuil?

Well judging by how well other Google products have done in the past and Chrome could be a strong competitor. So what is supposed to make Chrome special? Here's a list of features as written in the comic book and basically broken down into 5 main topics: stability; speed; search and the user experience, security and standards.

Before we delve into any details and here is a screenshot of what the new browser is supposed to look like:

One of the new features is that each tab will run in a separate process and which will be completely independent of each other and will be visible in the Process list from Task Manager. In this way, if one tab crashes and then you can kill just that one tab and not lose all of your other open tabs.

The browser is also written with Webkit and which is what runs Apple's Safari and Google's Android software. This means the browser should be very fast and yield better performance. Included with the browser will be a new version of JavaScript engine and specifically version 8, which will allow Chrome to support the next generation of web apps being built.

Another major aspect to Chrome is that each tab will have it's own window controls and it's own URL box. Developers will be able to control which window controls appear in a particular tab and therefore having the ability to create web apps that in the browser that resemble desktops apps. The URL box will be more like Firefox and give you suggestions based ON your browsing history and search results.

And like IE 8 and Apple's Safari and there will also be a private browsing mode. In terms of security and Chrome will come with a database of phishing and scam sites to prevent browse exploits. It will also come with an API to constantly update the database ON more evil sites.

Google Chrome will also include it's own “task manager” where you can see what sites are using the most memory and downloading the most data and using up the most CPU. Then you can kill the process for just that one tab if you like.

सभाहल निकै चर्का स्वरहरुले भरिएको थियो । संघको अध्यक्ष प्रमोद श्रेष्ठ भन्दै थिए 'संघ हुँदा हुँदै किन अर्को संगठन खोल्नुपर्ने थियो । यही संघमा मिलेर काम गर्न सकिन्थ्यो नि' उता सुवास श्रेष्ठको तर्कपनि मनासिव नै थियो । उनी भन्दै थिए 'के हामीले यसै संघमा रहेर पनि आफ्ना बैचारिक संगठन खोल्न पाँइदैन त?' उनले स्पष्ट पारे 'उद्योग व्यापार संगठन केवल बैचारिक मत मिल्ने केहि सिमित व्यक्तिहरुको संगठन हो जसले उद्योग बाणिज्य स‍ंघको कामलाई बाधा पुर्र्याउने भनै सहयोग गर्ने मात्र काम गर्नेछ यो संघको प्रतिद्धन्दी हैन'
जे भएपनि अन्तमा दुवै पक्षले आ-आफ्नो गल्ती स्विकार गर्नु उत्तम कुरा भयो । निलम्वन पनि फुकुवा भयो ।

बन्द सत्र सकिएलगत्तै सुरु भयो चुनावी माहौल । ४ जना त अध्यक्षका लागि उमेदवार दिनेमा परे भने ३८ जना सदस्यका लागि । यसपटक इतिहास फेरिने भयो । चुनाव त नभै नछाड्ने भयो । राति ९ बजेसम्म सहमतीको कुनै लक्षण थिएन । धेरैले लख काटिसकेका थिए अव संघमा भाँडभैलो हुनेभयो । जसरी पनि मिलेर जानुपर्छ भन्नेहरु त छँदै थिए कोहि भने चुनाव हुनै पर्छ भन्नेहरुको पनि कमी थिएन ।

अन्तत रातको ९:३० बजे बल्ल बल्ल सहमती हुने कुरा आयो तर यतिबेलासम्म त्यहाँ २ पक्षमात्र बाँकि थियो । २ वटा अध्यक्षमा नाम दिएका उमेरबार त केवल गोटी पो रहेछन दुवैतिरका ।
एकातिर नेपाली काँग्रेस र माओवादीको समुह थियो भने अर्कोतर्फ एमालेको समुह ।
अन्तत दुवैतर्फबाट ५-५ जना समितिमा आउने र बाँकी ६ जना अन्य क्षेत्रबाट ल्याउने कुरामा सहमत भयो । अध्यक्ष त चुनिए उनै पहिलेदेखी दावेदार रहेका सुर्य प्रसाद मर्सानी भने अन्य १५ जना सदस्यहरुको पद बाँडफाँड बैठकले गर्नेछ ।

http://benionline.com.np/travelphotos/acap/PB012572.jpgThe Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) contains some of the world’s highest peaks the world’s deepest valley-the Kali Gandaki River Valley. It is the Nepal’s largest protected area of 7629 sq. km. It was established in 1992. The proposed conservation area encompasses the Annapurna range in Western Nepal. It is bounded to the north by the dry alpine deserts of Mustang and Tibet (China), to the west by the Kali Gandaki River, to the east by Marsyandi Valley and to the south by valleys and foothills north of Pokhara (Sherpa et al., 1986).

The nearest town is Pokhara, some 30 km to the south. Access is by road from Pokhara Nandanda, and from then onwards by foot. The ACA has an entire habitats gradient from sub tropical sal forest to perenial snow harboring 22 different forest types with 1226 plant species including 55 endemics, 30 mammals and 456 birds.
 

Brief History

      In 1986 ACAP was implemented by KMTNC in Ghandruk as a pilot project covering one VDC with area of 200 km2
    *
      In 1990, it’s work area had expanded to 16 VDCs with an area of 1500 km2
    * Officially gazetted in 1992 covering 55 VDCs with present area

 
Objectives

ACAP has three primary objectives

    *
      To conserve the natural resources of the ACA for the benefit of the present and future generations
    *
      To bring sustainable social and economic development to the local people
    *
      To develop tourism in such a way that it will have a minimum negative environmental impact

      Some of the world’s highest peaks (Annapuran I: 8,091m, Machhapuchhere: 6,993)

      World’s deepest gorge: Kali Gandaki and one of the world's highest altitude lake Tilicho
    * Most popular trekking destination (76407 in 2000)

      Two distinct climatic regions (3000mm annual rainfall in south (cis Himalayas) and <500mm annual rainfall in north (trans Himalayas) within a span of 120 km and altitude of 1000-8000m
    * 22 different forest types
    *
      A total of 1226 species of plants (1140 species in the cis Himalayas) including 38 Orchid species and 9 Rhododendron species
    *
      101 species of mammals including snow leopard, Musk deer, Tibetan Argali, Tibetan wolf, Tibetan fox. 474 species of birds including 38 breeding species of birds at risk in Nepal, all six Himalayan pheasants found in Nepal. 39 species of reptiles and 22 species of amphibians.
    *
      Nepal’s Largest protected area and first conservation area with the entire habitat gradient from sub tropical sal forest to perennial snow.

      More than 100,000 inhabitants and more than 10 ethnic groups (Tibeto Burbese: Gurung, Thakali, Bhotia, Ethnic Tibetan and Magar and Indo Aryan: Brahmin, Kshetri, Kami, Damai and Sarki)

How to get there
Annnapurna area conservation is located near Pokhara , a town easily accessible from Kathmandu by air and road .Bus or taxi services are available from Pokhara to Jomsom which is located in the northern part of Annapurna Conservation Area. Alternative route is to reach to Phedi by bus or taxi and walk 1.5 days to reach to Ghandruk via Dhampus -Landruk.Annapurna sanctuary and base camp is located at 6-7 days trek from Ghandruk.
 
Heritage Significance

The Kangchenjunga Conservation Area (KCA) in the eastern Himalaya comprises some of the most stunning scenery in allof Nepal. Not only does this region host the third highest peak in the world(Mt. Kangchenjunga), but it is also a global hotspot for plant biodiversity. Botanist have identified twenty-three species of rhododendrons growing in the area. In this eastern Himalayan setting, glacial streams cut through high ridges creating remote and steep valleys where traditional farming practices are a way of life.

Tuked within these hidden valleys, one can encounter rich forests that support more than 250 species of birds and endangered wildlife. A few days of walking will lead you to high-elevation pastures where yaks graze languidly and colorful alpne flowers bloom. Throughout the KCA, you will encounter a medley of ethnicities that continue to practice traditional subsistence lifestyles, their cultural and religiouu spractices adding to the area's ricjh cultural heritage.
